There are many great places to ride, and the summer is the best time to go out and find them. Riding and sweating under the summer sun, and maybe bleeding a bit as well, are the things a rider lives for. There are multiple parks that all have a ton to offer to the novice rider or the seasoned professional.
The park may have been designed for mountain bikers rather than BMX riders, but Ray's MTB Park in Cleveland can hardly be topped. There are logs and teeter-totters, hips and step-ups. There is a massive wooden bowl that is perfectly smooth and excellent for someone who has ridden in a hundred bowls or someone looking to just get started. There is a foam pit for those who have a new idea for a trick and want to work it to perfection without risking their lives. Ray's has a lot of everything and is ideal for any style of rider. There aren't many parks in the United States that should be visited before this one.
For those just looking to break into the sport, the Adventure Sports Learning Center is perfect. It is located in sunny south Florida, and Adventure Sports is a combination of ramps and trails. That way, any sort of rider can find something to enjoy; also, new riders can figure out what, exactly, they like the best. The trails are long and extensive, and the ramps are challenging and fast.
If one is searching for something a little more professional in Florida, they would do well to check out Mesh, in Longwood. There are camel hump jumps that are challenging each and every time.
